Here are some similar interests I observed shared between many members of the class:

• Audio:​​

  • Spotify seemed to dominate the platforms that my classmates use to listen to music and podcasts on a frequent basis​

• Video​

  • Netflix and YouTube were large staples amongst the class for entertainment visual media.

• Social Media​

  • Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, and Twitter were all very popular social media platforms.​

• Text-Based Entertainment​

  • Reddit seems to be one of the few digital text entertainment platforms that is popular amongst many users. Unlike video platforms or audio streaming services, Reddit seems to be in a realm of its own when it comes to usage exclusivity compared to similar platforms.

• Video Games​

  • Video games seemed to be a staple amongst many of the class members, with games such as League of Legends and Super Smash being very popular.

• Non-digital media​

  • Books seemed to be one of the few non-digital mediums still used today. Newspapers, and other physical mediums, are almost nonexistent when compared to their digital counterparts.​
